Personality 》

Takehiko is quite introverted, as to be expected by his rather quiet demeanor. He often prefers to stick to the background most of the time, a wallflower by nature. He has a habit of keeping his thoughts to himself, only chiming in when he feels like he needs to. He hates unnecessary attention with a passion and tends to dissapear into crowds when he gets bored with a situation. He does stick around a select few people like glue, those few being some of the only people he can handle being around for a long time. Long conversations are exhausting for him, especially if it's nothing but idle small talk.

His introversion isn't the kind that could be considered cute, like shyness. His introversion comes from a sense of caution from others, so he tends to act rather cold and cynical to those who approach him at first. He has the instinct of pushing others away, something that tends to scare people off even if they had the patience to deal with his apathetic exterior

Despite his quiet nature, he's quite a jokester once he starts talking, whether intentionally or by complete accident. He relies on satire and dark or bad puns to keep others at least mildly amused. He almost always has a dead serious face before dropping a sudden pun, to the point where his jokes are nearly always unexpected or way out of left field.

The poker face he usually wears is simply a farce, though he has been asked several times if he actually cares or if he's faking for the sake of being nice. He doesn't nessecarily blame the people who think that, he's vaguely aware that he is rather difficult to read. Though, the tired vibes that he radiates are generally correct. He often works later shifts at his part-time job, so he often finds himself rather exhausted during the school day.

His tired look may make him look dead inside, but he's more than capable of being expressive once he finally starts opening up. But even when he does stop hiding his true feelings, he still doesn't genuinely smile often. Spending time with his classmates is actually the only thing that has gotten him to grin with excitement so much in just a single day.

He has major trust issues, he won't ever truly open up to someone unless they really prove that they're trustworthy first. Trust is almost sacred to him, if someone betrays his trust after he finally poured his heart out to them, then he'll hunt them down to the ends of the earth. He hates feeling vulnerable in front of people he doesn't fully trust, it makes him feel weak and threatened. He also finds the trust of others to be a sacred thing, and won't do anything to betray the trust of those he loves. If someone told him a precious secret, he'd likely take it to his grave if he had to. He hates rumors, mostly due to him having experience in being the center of quite despicable ones, and always does his best to find facts before forming a definitive conclusion.

He's surprisingly good at giving advice, mostly the kind on how to make someone feel better when they're upset. Not to mention his amusement at seeing others in love. As a result, Mina often drags him into her matchmaking schemes. Silly crushes are quite cute to him, and they still make him a bit jealous since he hasn't had a genuine crush in quite a while.

Beneath his rather dull exterior is an extremely kind and empathetic soul who was simply hurt way too many times. He's a bit of a tsundere when it comes to his feelings and bottles them up or lives in denial until it's too late. He's rather lively and chaotic on the inside, not matching his outward demeanor at all. He could be staring at you and you'd think that he was mad at you, but he was actually spacing out while thinking about lunch.

Speaking of his spacial awareness, he has almost none. He's almost always daydreaming, but he's quite perceptive when he actually starts paying attention for a change. He's much better at reading people than he even gives himself credit for, being able to instinctually tell when someone is trying to decieve him in some way. He's rather intelligent too, being terrifyingly good at quick thinking. He can come up with seemingly reckless schemes on the fly that tend to pay off in the end. He needs a lot more time to think if his plan goes wrong, that being so unexpected for him that he needs time to process his own failure before coming up with a new plan.

He's awful when it comes to holding grudges. If he doesn't like you, he'll stay away from you like you had some sort of contagious deadly disease. That is, unless you keep trying to irritate him and test his patience. He isn't above making the people he hates suffer and he'll make sure people know it. If one of his enemies got hurt in a non-serious way, such as tripping, he'd probably be the first one to start chuckling at their misery. If their lives are in danger however, he'd step in to keep them from dying at at very least. Fortunately, there are just as few people that he truly hates as those he truly cares about. The only time he'd even be willing to work with such individuals would be temporarily in dire or nessecary situations, such as a disaster situation or teams in class.

Despite him having a kind nature and not wanting to actively see others in pain constantly, he's actually a very self-seeking person. Even though he is willing to save others to a certain degree, there usually has to be some sort of benefit to him or it doesn't pose a risk of serious injury to himself. He's not self-sacrifical in the slightest and would be more likely to abandon others in a time of crisis. He struggles with heroism, and he isn't capable of being selfless very often, hence why he Dislikes All Might and Izuku to some degree. He's jealous of their ability to help someone else without wanting something in return, and the way they're willing to break themselves to please others just rubs him the wrong way.

He can act rather sinister at times, and gets cocky in fights if he gets confident that he'll win. He's a fan of playing mind games with his opponents and is very good at bluffing. He likes to have fun in combat, not wanting to take anything too seriously in training situations. It's all fun and games to him, so he doesn't see why he should take sparring too seriously unless he was getting graded in class. This could just be blamed on his laid-back nature.

His loyalty and kindness know no bounds. He'd be willing to save the life of even his worst enemy, for a small price that is, despite him constantly insisting that he'd wish death on someone he genuinely hated. He has an natural love and some degree of empathy for everyone, he merely doesn't express it most of the time. He's extremely protective over his friends and loved ones, he would relentlessly hunt down anyone who dared to harm the people he cared about.

He lives in a rather 'golden rule' type of way. If you treat him well, he won't forget to repay your kindness. If you treat him poorly, he'll give you a taste of your own medicine. It's a simple concept to him, so people questioning his moral conduct is rather inconceivable to him. You reap what you sow, right? He hates it when others call him villainous just for giving retribution when he deems fit, he is far from the person who turns the other cheek when it comes to wrongdoing. He doesn't see anything wrong with sticking up for himself or others, even when the majority tries to assume he's the guilty one.

Around his crush, he gets considerably more shy. He tends to stick close to them like a lost puppy. He tends to blush a little bit when asked to hang out and always accepts any plans from said person with almost no heasitation. He also willingly shares his snacks with them, a privilege only his one best friend would usually have. He tries to deny his feelings once he starts to catch on to the fact that what he's experiencing is romantic attraction, avoiding his crush as much as humanely possible. Once seeing that isn't helping and is only hurting both parties, he starts to spend more time with them again, only to find he's slowly become hopelessly in love with this person and he doesn't know what to do. He would shut down on the spot if his crush asked him on a date, being too much of a blushing and stuttering mess to form a coherent answer.

To citizens, he tries to remain as calm as he can in order to avoid spooking them even more in a crisis situation, but he quickly discovers that his uncanny calmness is less reassuring to some people than if he panicked on the spot at the sight of danger. He tries his best to be approachable, but he's not good at it in the slightest. Especially when it comes to children. Children hate him, which is fair considering he hates them just as much.

As for his behavior towards adults, it really depends on the hero. He respects his homeroom teacher, Aizawa, at the very least. The rest can't be said for certain about the rest of the UA staff. He has almost no respect for authority, his stubborn nature being very apparent around All Might. He was one of the few kids that didn't react to the news that he would be their teacher. In fact, his reaction even may have borderline on the negative side. He doesn't have some sort of secret edgy reason to dislike All Might, it's just the way that he was this unattainable goal of hope and power made Takehiko feel a bit jealous, not to mention the fact that he couldn't really find anything relatable in All Might. His disrespect to adult figures could also stem from his deep hatred for the Hero Comission. He can't help but seethe in rage at simply thinking about them.

Patience is not a virtue with Takehiko, he's so impatient at times that he seems in a constant state of irritation. He doesn't like it when things don't happen like they're supposed to and hates for things to drag out longer than nessecary. He's very blunt and straight to the point, saying exactly what he means with no strings attached. Which is why it's always surprising when he decides to have some fun and play all sorts of mind games.

《 Pet Peeves 》

- He can't stand it when someone can't get to the point of what they're saying, especially during emergency situations when he needs to know what's wrong in order to help.
- Constant lying also drives him up the wall, along with people trying to play therapist and get him to open up about his past constantly.
- As much as he loves snacks, he cannot stand the sound of chip bags or crunching in a quiet room.
- Constant apologizing. He tries to be patient, but he can only handle so many "I'm sorry!"s in the span of a minute.
- People who won't shut up about their new clothes 24/7. Especially with shoes.
- Constantly talking over other people, especially if said people are usually quiet.
- People who just leave water bottles and wrappers on the floor.
- Squeaky shoes.
- 'The baby voice' or just condescending high pitched voices really irritate him.
- Attention seeking.
- The sound of people constantly shuffling in their chairs during class.
- When a train goes by late at night and whistles really loudly
- People who steal his food. He'll tolerate it with a few close people, but only because he steals theirs in return.
- PDA.
- Someone reminding the teacher that there was homework.
- People who blow cigarette smoke into someone's face to look tough.
- Loud slurping.
- The feeling of a leaf getting stuck in his hair.
- Dragging his foot along the carpet and accidently ruffling it up.
- When people do something stupid and then proceed to complain about the consequences of their actions
- When someone immediately spills something on a surface that was literally just cleaned. Bonus points if it's sticky.
- Sticky and wet floors.
- When all of the work in a group project is dumped onto one person. He may be a loner, but even he has basic courtesy if he's forced into a group.
- Constant sneezing. He understands being sick, but sneezing every 5-10 seconds drives him mad.
- Getting asked out as a dare. Or just people asking others out as a joke in general.
- Flickering lights.
- Using 'no offense' as a way to politely insult someone.

《 Fears 》

Takehiko is deathly afraid of being backstabbed by the people around him, almost irrationally so. He's also scared of failure and disappointing the people around him. He's afraid of his own compassion, scared that one day he'll help the wrong person. He's afraid of confronting his own emotions and of taking his mind game shenanigans too far. He's afraid of letting down his guard, due to his fear of trusting others. He's also deathly afraid of heights.

《 Flaws 》

He's not a very pleasant person to be around at first, his hypervigilance of others makes him push others away. He's very selective about who he cooperates with, even when it comes to authority figures and upperclassmen. He rarely asserts that he's right, but he never relents if he truly believes he's right. He has a hard time admitting to his faults and his impatience only makes it worse. He doesn't like confronting his feelings and ends up bottling them up until he reaches a near breaking point. He's very aggressive towards those he Dislikes, taking a sort of sadistic pleasure in their suffering. It takes him a long time to get over a grudge, if he's even willing to hear the other person out. He tends to simply leave when he's tired of a situation, whether it's a conversation or an unnecessary task. He has severe trust issues, and tries to do everything by himself in order to avoid relying on somebody else for help.

《 Nervous/General Habits 》

Tatehiko has quite a few strange habits, most stemming from anxiety or irritation.

- He chews on the end of his pen out of boredom during class. And yes, he has busted a few and sent ink all over the place by doing so. It's one of his more noticeable character quirks

- He tucks his hands into his pockets when he's feeling nervous. When irritated, he only sticks his left hand in. It's strangely specific, he wasn't even aware of it until it was pointed out to him.

- Instead of having something as obvious as nail-biting as a habit, he chews on the inside of his bottom lip when he's overwhelmed with stress

- He plays with his bangs when in deep thought, usually with a face that makes him look like he's ready to kill somebody.

- He scribbles on the corners of his paper as a way to kill time if he finishes early. By the time he's done waiting for someone else to turn it in first, the paper usually has a fancy border on the front.

- He calls anyone who looks younger or very close in age to him Kiddo, usually adding something snarky about their appearance or something that makes them stand out in some way onto it. For example, he called Ochako 'Floaty Kiddo' for awhile until her name finally stuck with him since he struggled to pronounce it at first.

- If he thinks you're wrong about something, but doesn't have enough energy to argue at the moment, he'll say "Is that so?" In a deadpan voice at said person's comment.

- He'll occasionally copy the habits of those around him in more subtle ways. He once even copied a tamer version of Iida's karate chop while he was desperately trying to prove an opinion. It's rather funny once you pick up on it.

- He quietly hums the tune of a song that's stuck in his head at the time to himself as a way to cope with dead silence.

- He always has a small smirk on his face when finishing a plan, whether it's innocent or mischievious.

- Since trust is so important to him, he very rarely uses the term "Just trust me!". Instead, he uses "At least give my idea a try."

- He covers his mouth when he's embarrassed, and proceeds to mutter a quiet apology for said embarrassment

- It takes a lot to make him blush, but when he does, he always turns a bright red and proceeds to play with his fingers and avert his eyes from the cause.

- If he's getting overwhelmed, he'll let out a quiet sigh and immediately leave the situation without saying anything.

- He clenches his right fist when he's getting seriously pîssed off. That's because it's the hand that he usually activates his quirk on, despite the fact that he's actually ambidextrous.

- He always starts cursing like a sailor when he reaches his breaking point. And this is the only time he curses that much in one sentence.

- He taps his foot when he's happy or pleased with something. Unlike his other more specific habits, the foot he taps with doesn't change the meaning.

- He runs his hand through his hair when he's getting stressed. He pulls at it when he's about to snap.

- He places his pointer finger right below his bottom lip when he's struggling to decide on something.

《 Quirk Name 》

Shield Manifest

《 Why this Name? 》

It literally sums up what his quirk does. He's been trying to come up with a better name for years.

《 Quirk Type 》

Emitter

《 Quirk Range 》

Short to Mid-Range depending on which shield is active

《 Quirk Base Ability 》

Shield Manifest allows it's user to create all sorts of shields and barriers, each with different defensive and offensive stats, with all of them usually being able to resist several types of offensive type quirks. The shields vary in size, shape and durability. The user manifests the shields by willpower. Though the base ability of creating shields made of energy came from his mother's side, one of his special shields abilities was a result of his father's quirk genes mixing with his mother's. The user has discovered several shields and has no idea how many there are in total. The quirk also gives the user an interesting passive ability. The user finds it difficult to get injuries and feel physical pain, the quirk giving him a slight increase in his own physical durability. The discovered shields are as follows:

- Air Strike Shield
One of only two shields with ranged capabilities. The shield appears to be made of some sort of lime colored energy type of material, but it's transparent appearance should not deceive you. This shield is surprisingly durable considering it's fragile appearance. It never attaches to it's user, hence the name. The shield is also not limited by gravity and can be used as a platform. Overall, the most versatile of the shields.
Defense: 6.7/10
Offense: 7.2/10
Range: Medium
Placement?: Levitating/Freeform

- Silver Shield
This shield manifests as a small medieval shield on the user's arm. The material appears to be some sort of silver. This shield, like all of the other shields apart from Air Strike and Forcefield, always manifests as a proper shield on the user's arm. It can be switched to either arm, though the user prefers to keep his fixed shields on his left arm. This shield is sturdy as metal and quite resistant to fire and non-quirk based physical attacks. It's the first shield the user ever used and it's the easiest to summon, though it's by far one of the weaker ones.
Defense: 5/10(8/10 to fire)
Offense: 2/10(Though it does hurt when smacked with it)
Range: Short
Placement?: Arms

-Forcefield
This shield manifests as a large ball of dark green energy material around a target. The bubble is very difficult to shatter on the inside due to it's fortified interior. It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like. It takes a concentrated amount of energy on a weaker point to shatter it completely. It doesn't really move, nor have any offensive capabilities, it's simply a way to easily trap opponents.
Defense: 8/10
Offense: 0/10
Range: Medium
Placement?: Freeform, but only limited to the ground

-Viper Shield
This shield is a deep emerald green with a gold rim and a pair of snakes crossing across each corner with the heads poking off it. This shield has a unique capability in being that there is a small chance that the target who gets hit with this shield will be bitten by one of the snakes on it and get poisoned. The venom from this shield is far from deadly, it does make the target quite sick for a few hours afterwards though. All in all, great for longer Offense-based fights.
Defense: 6/10
Offense: 9/10
Range: Short
Placement: Either arm

- Stone Shield
This shield is quite durable, but sadly on the heavier side. It appears to be made of some sort of rough granite, looking more crudely carved than anything. It's not the most flashy or pretty shield, but it has great resistance to elements. And it'd probably be very painful to get whacked in the head with. Pretty great against multiple elemental wielding opponents.
Defense: 7/10
Offense: 4/10
Range: Short
Placement?: Arms

-Riot Shield
Literally just a riot shield. It's very tall, taller than the user and it's made of thick solid metal. It's large size makes it impossible to properly move while carrying. It's highly resistant to gunshots and other weaponry. Great against people with long ranged quirks or heavy hitting quirks with low mobility and situations that require a strong, still defense.
Defense: 9/10
Offense: 0/10
Range: Short
Placement?: Arms or both hands standing straight up. Basically like you'd normally hold a riot shield

-Mirror Shield
This shield appears to be made of some sort of white glass material with a Victorian style golden rim. It basically looks like a mini mirror. This shield also has a unique capability. It's highly reflective to light and can reflect Emitter type quirks. This shields only capability is recoil and will immediately shatter if it's hit by a person directly.
Defense: 1/10
Offense: 7/10
Range: Short
Placement: Arms

-Wrath Shield I
This shield is by far one of the most powerful in overall departments. It can only be summoned on special circumstances, those circumstances being when the user is at his lowest or totally overcome by anger. It's fueled by his hatred and thus cannot be summoned when he's in a happier mood. It has a pitch black appearance with spiked sides and intricate crimson markings that surround a red gemstone in its center. It's also capable of producing fire that has a mid-range effect. It's very versatile, the only thing that the Air Strike Shield is second to in adaptability. Both versions of the Wrath Shield are essentially the user's last resort Trump card.
Defense: 9/10
Offense: 9/10(When the flames are active)
Range: Mid-range(Once again due to the flames)
Placement: Arm

- Wrath Shield II*
A more evolved version of Wrath Shield I, this shield is even more capable than it's predecessor, though the consequences for using it for even a short time are much more dire. The gemstone on the shield turns to a deep purple and the red markings become more complex and have dragon heads on the top two corners. The user has to be totally overcome by anger in order to even access this shield. This shield still has the fire from it's predecessor, and it burns even hotter than before.
Defense: 10/10
Offense: 10/10
Range: Medium
Placement: Arm

*This shield was not discovered at the beginning of the school year, it manifested during the Summer Camp incident

《 Quick Drawbacks 》

The specific drawbacks of the shields vary widely among them individually.

- General Drawbacks
Only one arm/handheld shield can be summoned at once and two freeform type shields can be summoned alongside it. The more shields that are summoned at once, the weaker the user's natural physical endurance will be.
Switching shields rapidly too often causes the user to be paralyzed in place until his body catches up with the amount of switches that occurred, which can range from a mere 20 seconds to a full 3 minutes.
Summoning shields takes a great deal of focus and having diverted attention during the process can either result in nothing happening or accidently summoning something completely different than intended.
When a shield cracks or shatters, it physically pains the user as if they've been cut with several knives. The latter even causes those injuries to actually appear all across the user's body in random crack-like formations.
Physical and Mental exhaustion affects the quality of the shields, usually resulting in them being much weaker than they should be.
The user will temporarily be more susceptible to injury after summoning shields.
All Shields(except for Air Strike and Forcefield) have a fixed size that cannot be adjusted in any way.

- Air Strike Shield Drawbacks
It's extremely easy to accidently move the shield in the wrong direction or summon it in the place of something else.
The farther away and higher the shield is placed above it's user, the less effective it will be and the more lightheaded(hehe, levitation joke) the user will feel
The larger size the shield is adjusted to, the more whiplash and injury the user will recieve if it shatters.
The Air Strike Shield does not have a handle or a place to attach it to the user in any way and thus cannot be effectively held
The shield, while generally not affected by the laws of gravity, will fall down to the ground and shatter if too much weight is placed on top of it.
The shield will dissapear after a certain period of time, so caution must be taken when used as a platform.

- Silver Shield Drawbacks
It's terrible at countering ice or very extreme heat. The ice weakens the metal in the shield and can be shattered much easier when frozen. Very high temperatures melt the shield.
It's small, so it isn't good at blocking wide ranged attacks in the slightest.
Because of it's small size and light weight, it can't take a heavy barrage of attacks well at all.
It's small size also makes it easy for someone with a strength quirk to put a dent in it.

- Forcefield Drawbacks
This shield always has to be formed on a solid surface like a large wall or the ground.
It's not as difficult to shatter from the outside as it is from the inside.
It cannot be moved once placed down until it's taken down and a new forcefield takes it's place
The bigger the bubble formed with the forcefield, the thinner the material will be and the harder time the user will have in maintaining it.
A lot of resistance from an outside force can cause the forcefield to shrink in size to avoid getting shattered.

- Viper Shield Drawbacks
The snakes cannot extend very far from the shield to bite the target.
The venom takes at least 4 minutes to take effect.
The snakes cannot tell friend from foe and will simply attempt to bite any unlucky soul besides the user who gets too close.
There is no antivenom for the venom produced by the snakes, so if an ally gets bit they'll have to just deal with it.
The snakes won't be active in cold temperatures or if the shield is hit with an ice quirk.
The snakes will not bite the same target twice if the venom has already taken effect and will only bite said target again once they're over the sickness

- Stone Shield Drawbacks
This shield has the least weight resistance, so a strong explosion can easily crack it.
It's rather heavy and it's difficult to swing effectively.
It's weight also makes it difficult to adjust in time sensitive situations.
Wide range attacks also aren't blocked very well with this shield.
Easily chipped and pierced by metal or steel.

- Riot Shield Drawbacks
Impossible to effectively move with.
Takes a surprising amount of stamina to summon and often takes longer to appear than the other shields.
Cannot be let go of whatsoever or else it will simply dissapear.
Hard to keep balanced during heavy onslaught attacks.
Gunshots can still pierce the little window in the shield and it will have the same effect on the user as if the shield was cracked.

- Mirror Shield Drawbacks
Completely defenseless against Mutant and Transformation type quirks.
Dissapears after reflecting 3 attacks.
Can also get shattered with a punch.
The shards from cracking the shield also dissapear once pierced, so the glass shards cannot be used as a weapon.
It's a little on the smaller side, and it can't handle more than one Emitter quirk reflected in one shot.

- Wrath Shield I Drawbacks
The User is not immune to fire produced by the shield, so they will get burned if they touch it.
Using the shield for more than 15 minutes each day causes a curse to be inflicted on the user. Bruise like marks will appear and they will be painful to the touch, as well as causing the user to feel fatigued, nauseated and have some muscle aches. The curses length will range depending on how long the user surpassed their limit.
The shield can only be summoned when the user is overcome by pure hatred, it will not appear unless it's conditions are met.
It's strength depends on how furious the user is.
Due to the nature of the shield, hatred will overtake their entire being if they lose focus of themselves at anytime while the shield is out and they will go berserk. Anyone who attempts to touch the user in this state will be inflicted with a curse, though not one as bad as the one the user receives when exceeding their limit. The user will also be unable to tell friend from foe and will attempt to attack anything that they notice moving near them.
This shield slowly corrodes at the user's mind and soul the more it's used, so using it too often can have permanent psychological and behavioral consequences for the user if they aren't careful.

Wrath Shield II Drawbacks
All of the same consequences as it's predecessor to more extreme levels.
This shield is even more difficult to summon than Wrath Shield I.
The time limit for this shield is a mere 8 minutes, anything over this is guaranteed to either send the user into a blind fury or cause them to immediately lose consciousness, deactivating the shield and any other shields that may be present when that happens.
The curses inflicted by the shield are even more powerful than Wrath Shield I's.

《 Quirk Strengths 》

Shield Manifest is obviously excellent for defense and support. But it is also great for rescue missions where someone is trapped underneath rubble as the user can summon a forcefield around the target that will grow in size in order to allow movement.

《 Quirk Weaknesses 》

Unfortunately, it isn't good for very long, drawn out fights due to most of it's shields being helpful for short periods of being hit and it isn't as amazing of an offensive ability as the user wants to believe. The only real shields with offensive capability are either too fragile to be very useful in long fights (Mirror Shield), or too powerful for the user's body to withstand for long periods (Riot Shield's weight and the curses of the Wrath Shields).

《 Special Moves 》

- Skyward Leap
The user summons Air Strike Shield in a flat position and kicks off the top of it in order to use it as a jump boost. The user will sometimes summon a second shield to get to an even higher position

- Payback
The user uses the Mirror Shield to reflect two attacks simultaneously coming from two different directions.

- Special Delivery
The user summons Air Strike to catch a falling object or place an object on top of it. The user will then move the levitating shield above an unsuspecting victim and unsummon the shield to drop said object on top of them. Very useful for pulling petty pranks, but it can definitely be a clever and ironic way to catch enemies by surprise.

- Bubble Bounce
The user summons a forcefield around themselves and any nearby allies about to get hit by an area attack. They will then make the shield 'pulse' when hit and send any physical projectiles flying right back to their owners. The forcefield dissapears after reflecting 3 powerful attacks and it's main use is against wave-like attacks rather than Emitter types.

- Viper's Fury
The user pokes and prods at the Viper Shield constantly in order to agitate the snakes and increase the chance they'll bite someone before sneaking up on a group. The snakes will go wild and start snapping at everything nearby until all targets are inflicted with poison. This move includes allies, so he has to move all allies out of the way before executing this move, plus the agitated state of the snakes lasts a full 30 seconds to a minute depending on how long the agitation period was and the snakes will go into a dormant state for 5 minutes after the onslaught and cannot be used again until the cool down finishes.

(He has many other little maneuvers he uses in fights, but most of them are last second ideas that he rarely uses twice, so he doesn't have many 'official' special moves.)

《 Ultimate Moves 》

- All Out Defense
The user summons a forcefield, Air Strike, and a riot shield. They lay down with the riot shield and hide underneath it and will be shielded from one extremely powerful blast. The user will suffer the consequences when their shields shatter and they pose a risk of dislocating their arm while attempting to crawl underneath the riot shield.

- Final Judgement
The user will focus all of the flame from either Wrath Shield onto a single target. Once all of the flame is gone and the hatred has been released, the shield will dissapear and immediately inflict a curse on the user regardless of whether they exceeded their time limit or not.

《 Physical Health 》

He usually tries to keep himself as physically well as he can. He can't be a hero if he can't, but he does struggle with eating proper meals at times and he was slightly malnourished when he was really young, so about a 7/10 here.

《 Mental Health 》

He's got major trust issues which stem from an incident in his childhood as well as struggles with insomnia, so this one's a 5.7/10

《 Alignment 》

He's considered True Neutral, though he's borderlining Chaotic Neutral and Neutral Good. He hates authority with a passion, but he does listen to teachers occasionally if he has a deep respect for them, so he isn't a rebellious brat constantly. He does have the best interest for others in mind, without being quite selfless enough to be considered Neutral Good. He also will not hesitate to do some... questionable things to protect the things he cares about, apart from murder or serious injury.

《 Hero or Villain? 》

Hero all the way!

《 Hero Name 》

The Defense Hero: Hobosha

《 Reasoning for Wanting to Be a Hero 》

He isn't ashamed to admit it aloud. The main thing that led him to become a hero was money. He's said several times that he doesn't have a heart of gold by any means, he's a selfish person and he's slowly come to accept that he'll never have a selfless reason to go out of his way to protect someone. Though he's always had encouragement to go down that route due to having a strong quirk, he was always told that he'd be great for support and a great addition to heros who aren't good with defense. He hated being told that all he would ever be good for was support, so he wants to be a balanced hero who specializes in both offense and defense in order to prove to others with similar quirks as him that you can be whatever you want to be, no matter what your quirk's 'intended use' is. He wants to feel like he has a purpose, like his life could actually amount to something other than rotting away at a 9-5 job. Hence, why he chose the hero path instead of another career that has a large salary like a surgeon.

Hero Costume 》

《 Costume Designer 》

He isn't aware of this himself, but his costume was made by the same people who made Uraraka and Bakugou's costumes.

《 Costume Gadgets/Tech 》

- The gloves on his arms as well as the rest of the fabric on his costume is made to be burn proof as a way to combat the drawback of the Wrath Shield's fire injuring him on contact. Plus, the inside is insulated with a soothing, cooling agent to keep the curses inflicted from flaring up too badly during combat. It also helps to reduce immediate pain of his shields getting shattered.

- The palms of his gloves are made of a material compatible with his energy, so he can more efficiently channel it into making his energy-based shields even stronger. As a bonus, they also allow him to project his energy shields further away than he would normally be allowed to, giving his Air Strike and forcefield shields even further range.

- The sleeves are equipped with golden rings that will help better secure his shields to his arms.

《 Fighting Style 》

Tatehiko doesn't like to play total support very often, especially since he's a bit of a loner, so his fighting style is actually an all-round style, usually switching up his strategies and style depending on who he's fighting and what their quirk is. He's best when it comes to bluffing in fights, usually intimidating his opponents before catching them off guard with something totally different. He doesn't have much going on for his quirk offense wise, so he feels the need to make up for that with calculated ambushes. He rarely charges into situations guns blazing, or else he'd just be putting his safety at risk. Without his quirk, he tends to do something very similar in terms of trying to make his opponent overestimate him so he can pull something sneaky. He isn't above playing dirty and will use anything around him as a potential weapon. He'd kick dirt in someone's face before trapping them in a bubble if he felt he needed to in order to win a fight.

- As for actual combat training, he's never taken any sort of formal combat training before U.A, though he has been doing his own research on Martial Arts and attempting to blend some into his style in his free time. He does, however, have experience in actual fights as he was generally the one called upon to break them up when he was younger. His willingness to break the rules when it comes to fight comes from this hands on experience. He cares less about honor and more about the actual end result.

《 Any Thoughts on Switching Sides? 》

As stubborn as he is, you'd think this would be a hard no. But he actually has several times throughout his time at UA and even middle school. His hatred for the Hero Commission didn't help his case much. He may have considered switching sides, and he still does even with all the new friends he's made, but the furthest he'd be willing to go would be a vigilante. He still plans to be a vigilante if something ever goes wrong in his hero-training, opting to use the knowledge he acquired to do what he pleases, with or without permission. He has crossed lines that heroes shouldn't cross in the past and who knows if it might happen again?

《 Schooling 》

- Tatehiko attended elementary school somewhere in Mustuafu, Japan. He doesn't remember the exact location of his primary school, but he does remember that it was called Kagamine Primary School.

- As for middle school, he attended Nabu Middle School for a few years, then his parents transferred him to Mustafu Private Junior High (the middle school Kirishima and Mina attended) in his third year. He usually avoids this question when asked and simply answers with Mustuafu Private Junior High when asked and leaves out his time at Nabu. Kirishima and Mina are the only two students in his class who know that he only attended their school briefly for the end of middle school.

《 Current School 》

Definitely a U.A student

《 Course 》

The Hero Course!

《 Class 》

Class 1-A (or maybe 1-B depending on what sort of RP he's in)

《 Reccomendation or Entrance Exam? 》

Definitely entrance exam. He didn't have anywhere near enough talent for a recommendation in his eyes, even if his quirk is decently strong. Plus, he usually tended to stay out of trouble and blend into the background, so it was already highly unlikely that he'd catch the eyes of his own classmates, let alone a pro-hero.

《 Dorm Placement 》

Tatehiko's dorm room is on the 4th floor, the room right next to Bakugou and across from Mina at the end of the hallway. His room is decorated with a soft, Pastel aesthetic, completely contradicting his usual style. He took the time to put soft carpeting in the floor and paint the walls a soft blue with fluffy white clouds. It's fairly messy, with paint containers and canvasses scattered about along with random posters hanging on the wall. He has wicker baskets as well as a small cactus on his nightstand. All in all, his room organization shows his softer side, so the poor thing was a flustered mess when pretty much the entire class went in there.

《 Occupation 》

Aside from being a student, Tatehiko also works a part-time job at a local café as a barista.

Father

Tatehiko has extended English family on his father's side, but he very rarely comes in contact with them. He's only ever seen and met them in family reunions. His grandparents on his father's side are dead and he only sees his grandparents from his mother's side during holidays.

《 Childhood Friends 》

He was very good friends with a girl named Akemi as a child, with him fawning over her quirk(Wyvern: A Mutant class quirk that gives the user the appearance and abilities of a Wyvern, including flight and fire-breathing). They drifted apart after he moved at the end of middle school, but she was a big part of his life and he appreciates her always standing by him and considers her a trusted person in his life.

He also was friends with a girl named Chiaki, but their relationship strained beyond repair after the incident in early middle school. She was one of the key triggers for it and he had to keep himself under control when he saw her in the stands during the Sport's Festival. As much as he hates what she did, he also now knows that he was just as wrong in the way he handled things and wishes things could have gone differently. They aren't on speaking terms.

《 Best Friends 》

- Mina Ashido -
Let's just face it, Mina basically adopted the introverts of 1-A, Tatehiko being no exception. Though he found her high energy nature to be a bit much at first, her shipping shenanigans soon gave him far too much entertainment to not be friends. She reminds him of his childhood friend Akemi in a lot of ways, so he likes spending time with her. She always introduces him to new things and even got him into dance by some means of sorcery. She's the only person who can get him to actually socialize with other people.

- Kyouka Jiro -
These two, being on the introverted side, don't look like they got along at first, but that couldn't be more wrong. They started talking when Tatehiko complimented her style in an off comment and they soon bonded over their shared music taste. She's one of the few people he'd actually let into his dorm room willingly(The entire class went in there because of the room contest and he hated it.). She's currently trying to teach him how to play electric guitar and he sometimes has karaoke nights with her. All in all, they're complete besties.

《 Friends 》

- Denki Kaminari -
Tatehiko would have never approached Kaminari of his own free will, but still, they somehow became friends after Mina forced them to interact with eachother. They have the kind of friendship where they spam eachother with random thoughts at 3 in the morning. And he finds Kaminari quite fun to prank as he always falls for his schemes or helps him mess with Bakugo. They're both so chaotic that they've been nicknamed the "The Problem Children".

- Izuku Midoriya -
These two did not get along whatsoever at first. The disdain mostly coming from Tatehiko and Izuku being confused on why the male disliked him so much. Izuku reminded him of All Might, they both had that reckless heroism and a major savior complex and it drove him absolutely mad. The fact that he noticed them spending a lot of time together didn't help. Even with that, Izuku still felt more human than All Might. He still made mistakes and had his own goals other than simply saving others, even if they were rather people-pleasing. He began to take a liking to Izuku's fight for glory and offhandedly began to give him small bits of advice to take care of himself more or he'd never accomplish his dream. Even though Izuku's quickness to forgive Bakugo very much drove him up the wall, he knew it wasn't his call and their relationship is still mending.

- Mezo Shoji -
Tatehiko thought his quirk was interesting, so he spoke to him out of pure curiosity. He likes how caring the male was, despite him having every reason to be more pessimistic. Even though it did make him a bit jealous, he couldn't see any reason to not be friends with him. Plus, he's one of the few people who's actually taller than him, so he takes advantage of that by riding on his back and even hiding inside his arms to scare people(Mostly Izuku because his reactions are hilarious).

- Tsuyu Asui -
He appreciates her brutal honesty, she always says what she's thinking and that's a good quality in Tatehiko's eyes. He likes her company, she seems pretty chill, which is a nice break considering how wacky everyone else's personality is in his class. They started talking when she sat next to him on the bus on the way to the USJ and they've been friends ever since.

- Eri -
Is This even a question? Not even this cynical boy can resist how adorably pure she is and he's practically adopted her as a little sister. He'd do anything to make this child happy, and he looked so depressed when Izuku and Mirio brought her to visit 1-A and she acted scared of him. He helps Mirio watch over her when Izuku can't help and he practically spoiled her during the School Festival.

《 Aqquaintences 》

Ejiro Kirishima

• Shoto Todoroki

• Hitoshi Shinso

• Fumikage Tokoyami

• Hanta Sero

• Ochako Ururaka

《 Rivals 》

He has a (now)friendly rivalry going on with Izuku. He also has a not so friendly rivalry with Shinso and Bakugo.

《 Enemies 》

Oh boy does he have a lot.

- Tenya Iida -
The way that he's so strict on the rules that he sometimes contradicts his own ideals irritates Tatehiko to no end. He started to try and be nicer to him after the Hosu incident after learning what happened to his brother, but they're still far from being friends

- Poni Tsunimori -
She's so naive that she almost seems stupid, plus he's still mad about what she said about Shoji

- Neito Monoma -
For similar reasons that the rest of his class Dislikes Monoma, he also finds him very irritating and way too loud.

- Katsuki Bakugou -
Tatehiko slightly appreciates the blonde's drive to succeed, but he finds his pride so annoying. Not to mention the way he treats Izuku(he isn't as upset about the bullying in a 'how could you treat him like dirt' sort of way, but more in a sense of 'Why are you calling him useless when he's obviously much stronger than you. Let him take care of himself without your constant nagging' sort of way as Tatehiko disliked Izuku for quite some time).

- Literally All of 1-C -
The entire General Studies class despises him, and it's a wonder why. He went to the same middle school as Shinso, so they're well aware of how prideful and brutal he could be through him, even though he and Shinso weren't in the same class. Plus, it seems like his efforts to seemingly dismiss what his quirk's good at is a mockery to his opponents to them. He doesn't hate them as much ss they hate him, but he still dislikes most General Studies students regardless.

- M*norou M*neta -
Is this even a question? His two best friends are girls and he does not appreciate the way that the little grape pervert constantly tries to touch them without permission and make them uncomfortable. He's normally not a chivalrous person who thinks that women must be protected all the time, but he still occasionally traps the grapist in a Barrier that's intentionally too small and leaves him in the cramped space for awhile as punishment.

- Stain -
First of all, he's a villain, a person whom which is what Tatehiko's job is to fight and capture, but something about Stain makes him really uneasy and extremely uncomfortable.

- Overhaul and the Yakuza -
Once again, for obvious reasons, but he also hates what they did to Eri. Overhaul is one of the few people that Tatehiko would actually kill if given the chance, he's so irredeemable in his eyes that he was actually relieved when Izuku didn't show him any mercy in that battle.

- Tooru Hagukure -
She scares him. He doesn't know why, she just makes him feel uneasy.

《 Crush + Backups 》

Main

♡ Izuku Midoriya ♡

They definitely did not start off as soulmates. Tatehiko actually couldn't stand Izuku at first, and even though Izuku was more confused than anything, didn't hang around Tatehiko too much either because his aura intimidated him. Tatehiko couldn't stand the way Izuku was so willing to sacrifice his own safety for the sake of someone else and he didn't understand it in the slightest. Not to mention his obvious connection to All Might. His dislike was only solidified during the Battle Training, when Izuku literally collapsed because he took things so far while All Might failed to stop them when it was obvious Bakugo was going out of line because of bias. He cringed everytime he saw Izuku with a new bruise, assuming that him constantly injuring himself was because he was ignoring his drawbacks and unleashing more than his body could handle intentionally out of recklessness. He actually left and snuck off to the food stalls during Izuku's match against Todoroki since he couldn't bear to watch Izuki tear himself apart over a sparring match. He finally confronted him alone after the Summer Camp incident and asked Izuku very bluntly said to him "What's the point of breaking yourself like this for others? Why are you always sacrificing your own safety for theirs? If you keep this up, there won't be anything left for you to save yourself, let alone the things you hold dear." This sparked a bit of an arguement between them that ended with Tatehiko storming off. Then the Kamino Ward incident happened, and Tatehiko blamed himself for giving in to what Kirishima and some of the others were planning and going with them. Considering he already had a lot on his mind before then, he practically exploded. Izuku happened to be one of the people to see him finally snap, along with everyone else who participated in the mission to save Bakugo. He doesn't remember exactly what all was said during that outburst, but he did notice that the people who were there acted like they were confused on whether to be afraid or concerned for a little while afterwards. His doubt only started dispelling after the Provisional Liscensing Exams, after seeing how maturely he handled the disaster rescue simulation, especially when compared to the foolishness of Todoroki. He handled the sudden situation quite well for someone Tatehiko had originally deemed to be reckless and childish. That still didn't make him suddenly like Izuku, but as his hatred was subsiding ever so slightly since then, he started to give vague bits of advice and warnings to Izuku as a friend. As their relationship finally started mending, Tatehiko realized that he was so caught up in his own hatred that he didn't even notice that he'd managed to catch feelings for Izuku at some point and they were only growing the more he got to know him. He tried to hide his newly discovered feelings in fear of ruining their friendship by confessing, he wasn't for sure that Izuku was even into guys at all and worried that saying something about his romantic attraction would ruin their newly mended relationship. He only hurt himself and confused Izuku even more in the process, and finally attempted to confess after having some sense knocked into him by Mina and surprisingly Bakugo as well.

Backups

♤ Kyoka Jiro ♤

This one isn't too surprising, it's a very common thing to fall in love with your best friend after all. But he honestly wasn't expecting to end up in such a cliche situation. He realized he was developing feelings as he spent more and more time with her and was finally aware that he was in love with her by the time they took their provisional licensing exams. He loved the way she smiled, and the way she clicked her earphone jacks when nervous. She was adorable to him, and he wants nothing more than to see her happy and chase her dreams. If she found that happiness with someone else, then he could learn to live with that, even if it took a long time.

◇ Tenya Iida ◇

Like with Izuku, his relationship with Iida wasn't great at all when they first met. He only saw him as a buzzkill and an honor student with zero chill. He only started to realize that Iida was more than that after the Hosu incident and finally learning what happened to his brother. Even if he may not have lost someone he loved like that, he still knew how it felt for a loved one to suddenly vanish from your life and offered his best attempt at comfort. It ended up coming out rather cheesy, but he was glad that he still managed to at least make Iida feel better. It took a long time for feelings to develop as his grudge clouded his judgement for a very long time, but his romantic attraction began to hit him hard after he finally got over his silly little rivalrous grudge.

♧ Your OC ♧

Reasoning varies depending on your character and their personality. It can range anywhere from reluctant friends to lovers, friends with mutual crushes or even rivals/enemies to mutual pining. It all depends on what you would want in their relationship really, I'm fine with most dynamics.

《 Backstory 》

Tatehiko was born to Hachiro and Chiharu Kimura on a rainy February day. Ironically, despite being born during a storm and that sort of time seems unlucky, he had no issues with his parents at all growing up. He had always been a happy child, even if he was a bit quiet at first.

In elementary school, he didn't really care for showing off his quirk a lot as he was still trying to figure out how to use it with the help of his dad. This did cause some kids to tease him to some degree, but it was nothing he was really bothered about. The teasing stopped after he finally showed off some of his energy shields just for fun on the playground. He loved trying to help others, sometimes getting nothing in return. Unfortunately, some of his classmates took advantage of his people-pleasing tendencies at this stage in his life and constantly asked him for favors, especially since his quirk wasn't very strong. The only two genuine friends he had were Akemi and Chiaki, though he was unaware of this at the time.

When he went to middle school, around his second year, one of his only genuine friends, Chiaki, confessed to him that she'd had a crush on him for awhile and asked to be his girlfriend. Tatehiko, who honestly felt the same way, happily accepted. They were both in this phase of loving romance movies, so they based their relationship expectations on them. Neither had any experience with dating whatsoever. Chiaki was a very physical person who thought that couples had to basically be cuddling at all times, even in public while Tatehiko didn't like physical affection very often if at all and showed his love through action rather than touch. This sort of thing is normally a minor issue, but them being emotional middle schoolers, it caused quite a few vile disputes. Chiaki constantly tried to hug him in public and kiss even though he told her that he wasn't comfortable with that. This led to Tatehiko getting rather irritated, and Chiaki took his irritation as him being abusive(she basically just learned about abusive relationships), blowing the situation even more out of proportion when she started telling her friends about how he wasn't spending much time with her at all anymore and rejected her when they did. She wasn't trying to be a toxic person, but she was and this stressed Tatehiko out even more when her friends started talking and awful rumors quickly started spreading around the school about how abusive he was to Chiaki. Not wanting to show Chiaki that he was upset, he started bottling up his emotions and tried to hide how hurt he was by those rumors because even though she was the reason they started, he still loved her and didn't want her to see him sad. He finally snapped on her in the hallway at school sometime towards the end of middle school, shoving her off of him when she tried to hold his hand and started going off on her about the rumors and such. After he'd realized what he'd done, he tried to apologize, but the damage was already done. The hallway was crowded with their classmates and the rumors going around about him had not only worsened, but ended up causing him to be outcasted as well. Everyone went to Chiaki and tried to offer their support, and bashing Tatehiko in the process because they made assumptions due to not knowing the full story, everyone except Akemi that is.

This incident wasn't the entire reason Tatehiko ended up like he did, becoming a totally different person because of one girl seems a bit exaggerated, even for emotional middle schoolers. Though he was starting to become a bit more closed off than he was before. After being understandably upset with Chiaki, he determined it would be best to the relationship before things got even worse between them and thinking that the rumors would slow once they broke up. He told her to meet him after school by the entrance and she reluctantly agreed, still under the false and childish impression that he was being abusive to her and wondered what he wanted. While on his way to go meet her, he overheard a conversation happening by the lockers nearby between a few of his 'friends'. He overheard them talking about how they were glad that they weren't attached to him considering "what he was truly like" and how they could supposedly tell that his nice act was just fake. Mostly them talking about how they basically have been taking advantage of him since they were kids. Being at his lowest already due to being socially outcasted, Chiaki's false accusations of him and now learning that all of his friends were only using him to get what they wanted, all those bottled up emotions came spilling out and he ended up confronting the group, seeing too much red to be worried about the meeting with Chiaki at the moment. This is when he discovered Wrath Shield I. His bottled up rage and hurt ended up forming that shield and it flared up all of a sudden. Due to the fact he's never used it before, it ended up going out of control, burning him and some of the other kids in the process. Akemi happened to just be leaving school after a brief after-school meeting with a teacher(she was about to fail that class and she got lectured about it), and saw the confrontation. Chiaki had just showed up as well, on her way to the meeting spot she agreed to go to. Chiaki darted off to get a teacher while Akemi leapt right into the fray to break it up. Due to her quirk's nature, his fire didn't burn her scales and a while of offering comfort and hugs eventually snapped Tatehiko out of his enraged state. He soon collapsed out of exhaustion and due to all the burns. Him and three other kids were treated for 2nd degree burns and the rest only had minor burns. Tatehiko wasn't expelled, thankfully, because the incident was determined to have been a result of a quirk flare up as seen on camera. But his parents were worried about him, they tried to get him to talk to them about it, but he was too scared to tell them about Chiaki before as he thought he would get in trouble for dating. After saving up plenty of money, they had him transferred out of Nabu Middle School for his final year of middle school and gave him the chance for a fresh start at Mustuafu Private Junior High. He wasn't in the same class as Kirishima or Mina, but he had seen them around and was surprised to see that they had made it into UA as well on his first day. By this point, he was already deeply damaged by what happened and he had basically done a 180 from his elementary self. He was far more introverted than he was and he had put on a cold and cynical persona to avoid getting hurt like that ever again. Due to the private school's nature(and his own dreams of being a hero from childhood), he decided that this places prestigious nature would help him get into UA. He wanted to go to the best place he could if he wanted a chance to make money and repay his parents for having to deal with all that nonsense from last year. Repaying his parents for working their ässes off to save him from that rather toxic environment as well as fund a way to contact Akemi to thank her for everything she's done for him are also core reasons he wants to be a hero, he wants to save others like they saved him. Although he may not be selfless anymore due to his trust issues, he's still more than willing to help out if he gets some sort of benefit out of it.
